Waterford’s senior hurlers and footballers face a demanding championship schedule in the 2026 Munster Championships, with key home and away fixtures across April and May.

In hurling, Waterford open their Munster campaign away to Clare on Saturday, April 19th at Zimmer Biomet Páirc Chíosóg, throw-in at 2 pm. They then return to Walsh Park for back-to-back home games, first against Tipperary on April 26th at 2 pm, followed by a Friday evening clash with Cork on May 9th at 6 pm. Their round-robin campaign concludes with a tough away trip to face Limerick in the TUS Gaelic Grounds on Sunday, May 17th at 3 pm.

On the football side, Waterford begin their Munster Championship in the quarter-final against Tipperary on Saturday, April 12th at Cappoquin Logistics Fraher Field, with throw-in at 2pm. A victory there would see them advance to a semi-final on Friday, April 25th, where they will face either Limerick or Cork at a venue to be confirmed.

With a mix of home and away fixtures, both Waterford panels face a challenging but exciting run of games as they aim to progress deep into Munster championship action in 2026.
