Waterford FC Women fall to league leaders Athlone Town
Athlone Town made it six wins in a row in the League of Ireland Women’s Premier Division on Saturday night.
The Midlands club are now unbeaten in their opening eight league matches, conceding just two goals in the process.
Meanwhile, Waterford who are newcomers to the senior level find themselves in ninth position with two wins to their name so far in 2025.
The Blues welcome four time league champions Peamount United to the RSC on Saturday, 17th May for a 3pm kick-off.
