
Waterford FC Women’s team have been handed a tough draw in the group stages of the 2025 All Island Cup following the draw that was made today.
The Blues will make their competition debut in Group D where they come up against Glentoran Women, Treaty United and reigning league champions Athlone Town.
All 12 teams from the SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division will be involved alongside the top teams from the Sports Direct Women’s Premiership.
Holders Galway United were drawn into Group C alongside Cliftonville Ladies, Cork City and Peamount United.
Group A will see a Dublin Derby between Bohemians and Shelbourne, while Sligo Rovers and Linfield Women are also involved.
Lisburn Rangers will compete in Group B alongside DLR Waves, Shamrock Rovers and Wexford.
The group games will commence on the week ending April 27th with fixture details to be confirmed in due course.
