The visiting Shamrock Rovers came from behind to defeat Waterford FC at the RSC last night..
The home side took the lead on 22 minutes when Kevin Lynch cracked a left footed free kick into the net.
Shamrock Rovers forced a number of corner kicks just before half time, Dan Carr thought he had levelled matters with one effort, but Kevin Lynch shinned it off the line.

At the other end of the pitch, an Izzy Akinade struck the outside of the post in the dying minutes of the opening half.
The equaliser came in the 55th minute through Aaron Green, but it was Ethan Boyle who broke Waterford hearts in the 92nd minute, when he netted to win the game for Rovers.
