Waterford FC entertain Athlone Town this evening in the Airtricity League First Division
The Blues are nine points clear at the top of the table and are in rich vein of form at the moment
Waterford overcame second placed Cobh Ramblers last weekend by 4 goals to nil
It'll be the fourth meeting of the sides this season, Athlone defeated the Blues on the first night of the season back in February by a goal to nil but Waterford have won the last two meetings, 2-1 in their last clash at the RSC while they went goal crazy in June against the Midlanders in a 6-1 victory
Shane O' Connor netted a brace of goals last week and the Blues midfielder says there's a great bond amongst the squad
Shane says it's a good position to be in heading into the business end of the season
