Waterford FC got their pre season programme off to a winning start with a 2-1 win over Bray Wanderers at the Carlisle Grounds last night.
The Blues, who defeated Bray to retain their Premier Division status last season, opened up a two goal lead through two players who are on trial at the club at the moment before conceding a goal five minutes from time.
Jon Daly used two different elevens in each half in what was a useful first run out.
They are back in action on Saturday when they visit Cobh Ramblers in another game that will be played behind closed doors.
