The Waterford footballers suffered their second defeat in Division 4 of the National Football League after a battling display against Laois at O'Moore Park last night.
Full forward JJ Hutchinson scored 1-3 in the first half as the visitors trailed by a point at the break.
The sides were level on six occasions before Laois pulled away in the last quarter with six unanswered points.
Waterford finished with fourteen men as Thomas O'Gorman received a second yellow in injury time.

It finished Laois 0-18 Waterford 1-11.
