Waterford District Junior League fall at penultimate hurdle
The Waterford and District Junior League’s hopes of claiming back to back Oscar Traynor Trophy championships have been dashed.
The Déise selection fell at the semi finals stage to the Wexford Football League at Ferrycarrig Park this afternoon.
Despite leading 1-0 at half-time thanks to an Adham Masood effort, the Waterford side could not hold off their south eastern rivals as they struck twice in the second half to advance to the final.
