Waterford born Sinéad Lohan through to the final of the Irish Open Tennis Championship

Sinéad will play another British player, Anna Jodie Burrage in the final tomorrow.

Burrage defeated North American Quinn Gleeson 7-5, 7-5 in her semi final.

Sinéad is studying at the University of Miami and if she goes on to win tomorrows final she will enter a roll of honour which includes former greats of the game including Virginia Wade, Billy Jean King and Evonne Goolagong.

Sinéad's final against Anna Jodie Burrage will be televised live on TG4 tomorrow.
