Waterford have advanced to the Munster minor Camogie final, beating Limerick at the SETU Arena.
It ended 1.07 to 1.04 in favour of Mark English's side with Ava Fitzpatrick nailing 1.01 of the Déíse's total.
Conditions were far from favourable in Carriganore as Storm Isha started to lick at our shores.
Waterford got the lion's share of their work done by the half-time break, leading 1.06 to 1.00.
Maggie Gostl got 4 points, with both Katelyn Lyons and Emma Fitzgerald scoring a point a piece.
The second half saw the Treaty County come roaring back, outscoring their hosts four points to one, but Mark English's team were able to hand on, partly in thanks to goalkeeper Katelyn Gardner who pulled off a superb diving save in injury time to secure victory for the Déise.
They march on to the Munster Final where they will face Tipperary on February 18th, with the venue still to be confirmed,
