Waterford Athletic Club, launched its 15th edition of its Annual Half Marathon on Thursday last at the RSC.

Speaking at the launch, WAC Chairperson, Trevor Walsh, welcomed all those present to the launch, including Ronan Clinton, Lead Partner EY Waterford, Club Committee Members, Coaches and Athletes.

WAC wishes to acknowledge and thank EY Ireland, for their continued support as the principal sponsor of the Waterford AC Half Marathon, for the fifth consecutive year.

Waterford Athletic Club along with the support and EY Ireland, share a joint vision of making the event even more enjoyable and an even bigger success in 2025, whilst promoting a fit and healthy and inclusive community for all athletes of all abilities.

Waterford Athletic Club looks forward to welcoming, returning athletes and first time runners of this half marathon to Waterford, on Saturday 29th November 2025, without whose support the event wouldn’t be possible over the years.

The race starts at 9.30am from SETU Arena, West Campus, Carriganore, Waterford.
