Waterford FC are seeking a new manager after it was announced that John Coleman and assistant coach Danny Ventre had parted company with the club.
“We would like to thank John and Danny for their efforts whilst at the club and wish them well for the future. The club will be making no further comment, and will issue a further update in due course,” the club stated.
The Blues last tasted victory on the 25th of July with a 4-2 victory over fellow strugglers Galway United.
Since that meeting, Waterford have fallen to the ninth place relegation play off spot in the League of Ireland Men’s Premier Division following a run of one draw and six losses.
The Blues also exited the FAI Cup at the hands of Munster rivals Cork City who find themselves bottom of the league.
