Nigel Kelly sat down and had a video link up with Daragh, to get to the bottom of what's happening in terms of a perceived debacle over what jockeys and horses are available to trainers Gordon Elliot and Henry de Bromhead.

Yesterday The Racing Post reported that Gordon Elliot had laid claim to both Davy Russell and Jack Kennedy for Down Royal this week, making Kennedy unavailable to Henry De Bromhead.

Henry De Bromhead had stated that Jack Kennedy would ride "Minella Indo" tomorrow.
However, the Gigginstown Trainer is adamant that Kennedy would ride "Delta Work" instead.
Davy Russell has also been told that he won't be riding "Envoi Allen," with Rachel Blackmore now set for the ride.

Racing Journalist Daragh O Choncuir says that this is something worth discussing, and for racing enthusiasts it's certainly not a 'non story.'

"It's interesting where we go from here but you'd imagine now Davy Russell will not be riding Envoi Allen, unless they can come to some arrangement."
