Villa went one further yesterday when they made the trip North for the President's Junior Cup final with Coalisland.

The 2021 FAI Junior Cup Champions traveled to Armagh for the clash with the IFA Junior Champions with bragging rights on the line for the best junior soccer team in the country.

The first half ended with the two sides deadlocked at 0-0 with neither side able to wrestle control of the game from the other.

As the second half began, the Northern Ireland Junior Champions struck home to take a 1-0 lead.

Conor Coad's Villa had to wait until the 70th minute before they would earn their first score of the game when Adam Conway found the net.

With the clock ticking ever closer toward the end, John Frederick Tamen snatched the winning goal in the 89th minute.

Villa would hold on to their lead for the final minutes and when the final whistle sounded they were able to celebrate as one more piece of silverware has been added to the ever-growing cabinet.
