The Vikings made it two from two in Division One, beating Team Northwest by a single point - 73 to 72 - in Donegal on Saturday night.

After a 6-hour bus journey for the visitors the home team had the better start but the Vikings fought back and were ahead by the end of the first period.

They held onto their lead right up until midway through the fourth period when they fell behind but two 3-pointers from Jack Ryan and Dale Kavanagh saw them back in front.

A big finish from Northwest almost stole the game but the Vikings held on for a one-point win. Next Saturday it’s a home game against SETU Carlow.
