The showcase race on day two of the Aintree Festival of Racing is the Grade 1 Melling Chase at 3.30 pm.
Among the 10 runners is the Henry De Bromhead trained Captain Guinness, who steps up to the 2.5 mile trip for the first time in his career.
The Butlerstown trainer is also represented by Notebook in the 30 runner Topham Chase run over the grand national fences at 4.05 pm.
