Maggie Boylan and Aoife Moore will both line out for Munster this evening for round two of the interprovincial championship.

The women in red welcome Connacht to Musgrave Park for a half seven kick-off, with Munster the fancied side following their dominant win over Ulster last weekend.

Traveling to the Kingspan for the campaign opener, it was the visiting team who notched a half-century score on the board to claim a near unquestioned win.

Moore crossed the whitewash for Munster to dot down in her senior debut for the province in the 78th minute.

Boylan came close herself but came short in her effort, while the score was eventually converted through prop Chloe Pearse.

This evening, it's a home game and the chance to notch another win on the board. Connacht were well beaten 17-12 by Leinster at The Sportsground in the first round last weekend and will have painted a very real target on the Munster player's backs.

Moore, who is named on the bench today is hopeful of a win, but doesn't expect it to come easy.

They'll be tough no doubt. I do think the rugby we're looking to play, and how we played last weekend and how we've been training over the last few weeks; I do think that hopefully will shine through and we'll get another decent win.

Having played for Munster at underage level, the win against Ulster provided Moore with her first senior outing in the red jersey. Having played for Carrick RFC and now for Blackrock in Dublin, it hasn't been an easy journey for the forward. The past year, for sportspeople and non-sportspeople alike, meant that change was forced and not happily accepted.

My first time getting a senior cap for Munster and for me it felt like it was a long road. I went straight into the senior set up straight out of 18's in 2014; got on well, but I was up in Dublin with college, but not everything would have went the way I would have liked it over the years.

I've taken the opportunity this summer - grabbed the bull by the horns in making sure I could secure my place on the match day squad.
