Tramore AFC have reached the Jimmy Searson Ardagh Premier Cup semi-finals.
The Seagulls traveled to Portlaw United this morning where a Sam Sheppard brace saw the league runners up take a two nil lead. However, Portlaw came fighting back, scoring twice with less than fifteen minutes to go.
Sam Croke and Darryl Walsh pulling the home side level and taking the tie to penalties.
A back and forth penalty shoot out ended with the Seagulls advancing to the semi-finals, winning 5-4 on penalties.
They join league champions Villa, reigning cup champions Hibernians and Dungarvan United.
Villa defeated Ballinroad 5-1. Hibernians were comfortable three nil winners away to Ferrybank. Whilst Dungarvan United got the better off Bohemians in a tight affair by two goals to one.
