Heavy bands of rain saw the going changed to soft at the penultimate session of the August festival of racing at Tramore.
It came as no surprise that no outright favourite obliged on the seven-race flat card and indeed a number of winners were returned at double digit odds.
The Royal Ascot winning team of jockey Gary Carroll and trainer Gavin Cromwell were singing in the rain however as both recorded doubles during the evening.
