There were four winning favourites at last nights opening leg of the four days festival of racing in Tramore.

Waterford-trained horses also fared well coming up trumps in three races.

Dungarvan trainer John Queally sent out 13/8 shot Pat Coyne to score in the Beginners chase.

Craic Eile was a 6/1 winner over hurdles for Tallow trainer Ken Budds while Deise trained horses filled the first three places home in the concluding contest with 6/1 shot Line Out trained by John Kiely accounting for Molly Wedger and Buttons and Bows.
