Waterford are through to the quarter-finals of the Kennedy Cup.

Waterford defeated Wexford 3-0 at the RSC on Sunday afternoon and they are now through to the last four of the national competition.

Manager Nigel Ray and coach Gary Coad have got an excellent squad to work with and perhaps a famine that goes back to 2003 may be about to come to an end.

Bradley Keohan opened the scoring after 7 minutes of play.

Goal Poacher supreme Mohammed Oladiti increased the advantage on 35 minutes and Fidel Pululu rounded off a great day for the young Waterford outfit.

Everyone will now be hoping for a favourable semi-final draw when it is made later this week.
