Munster championship hurling returns to Walsh Park on Sunday as Waterford and Tipperary go head to head.

The Déise have won the last three meetings between the teams and Dan Shanahan says that they have the edge over the Premier men. "They have pace. They don't fear Tipperary. These lads have no fear. They're so fit, they're so hungry. Liam Cahill has made Walsh Park a tough place to come to get any result. I don't think they've been beaten in Walsh Park. They're so well drilled. They don't fear whoever comes to Walsh Park. You can see that in their performances."

Waterford are unbeaten at the city venue under Liam Cahill and Dan Shanahan expects that winning streak to continue this weekend. "Tipperary aren't in a good spot, there's a lot of changes in the camp and a lot of personnel gone. When Tipperary brought it to Walsh Park in the league game, Waterford blew them out of the way with their power and pace and they couldn't handle them. I expect the same next Sunday. Granted, it's going to be tougher, it's championship hurling. I can't see Tipperary coming to Walsh Park and beating our lads, the way our lads are playing at the moment."
