"The team have been massive to me" Vikki Falconer on road to recovery

Waterford camogie All Star Vikki Falconer is closing in on a return from a cruciate knee ligament injury.

The Tramore defender was stretchered off during the All Ireland final defeat to Cork last August but she is back in non-contact training and could see championship action later this month.

"The team have been massive to me, Jerry and the lads, family and friends. I'm thankful that I had this. I'd say if you were doing it on your own, it could be a mental battle at times. Knowing that I was training on a Tuesday and a Thursday really did help. Doing this journey with the girls, made it a lot easier."

Waterford welcome Limerick to Walsh Park at 2 o'clock this afternoon in Round 2 of the All Ireland series.
