Stradbally and The Nire will renew their rivalry when they meet in the eagerly awaited Co. Senior football Championship Final this afternoon in Fraher Field.

Stradbally will be hoping to claim their first Conway Cup since 2015 while The Nire will be seeing a second staright title after an impressive win over Ballinacourty in last year's decider.

Stradbally had two points to spare over Kilrossanty in last weekend's semi-final, while a late Shane Ryan goal saw the defending champions edge out An Rinn by the minimum.

Shane Ryan, The Nire defender says both teams have built up a great rivalry over the years.

Shane says despite losing a good few players from last year, the younger players have proved their worth to the squad.

And the game will be broadcast live on WLR, commentary team of Kieran O' Connor and Shane Briggs, with thanks to George Corbett Skoda.
