Pat Sullivan has been named as the new Kildare ladies football manager.
The Dungarvan clubman was in charge of Waterford for two spells and led the Déise to All Ireland intermediate glory in 2015. Waterford retained their Division 1 status and reached the All Ireland Quarter Finals this summer, with Sullivan on the sideline, but he decided not to reapply for the role.
He was ratified as Lilywhite boss at a county board meeting last night. Kildare will face Waterford in the top flight of the National League next year after lifting the Division 2 title back in April.
