Dean Finn produced an impressive turnaround on day one of the MODUS Super Series, recovering from an opening defeat to finish the day in a strong position.

The Waterford native faced a tough start against tournament favourite Jamai van den Herik, going down 4-1 in his first match of the night.

However, Finn responded in style, showing resilience and quality to win his next three matches in a row. He edged a tight contest against Ryan Bradley 4-3, before producing a convincing 4-1 victory over Lewis Pride.

He rounded off an excellent run with a dominant 4-0 win against Dmitrii Rogov, underlining his form as the night progressed.

Those results leave Finn sitting comfortably in second place in the group standings, putting him in a strong position heading into the next stage of the competition.
