Stradbally dug out a 0-13 to 0-11 victory over local rivals Kilrossanty under the Fraher Field floodlights to reach their fourteenth county final since 2001.
The sides were level on six occasions before defenders Kevin Lawlor and Jack Mullaney popped up with late points.
Reds boss John Grey praised the battling qualities that his team showed to get over the line.
It was their first competitive game in eleven weeks and Grey admitted that it was difficult to keep the players hungry.

It will be an eighth final meeting with The Nire in the last sixteen years and Grey rates them highly.
