Waterford Gaelic Football Manager is ‘a sucker for punishment’ says Ex RTE Pundit Pat Spillane when speaking about the New Waterford Football Manager.

Writing in his column for the Irish Independent, Spillane was critical of the New Waterford Manager.

“Fair play to him, he is a sucker for punishment. Waterford is probably the poorest of the 32 teams. Last year, they had one league victory.

What can he aim for? Maybe two or three league wins. Maybe one or two wins in the Tailteann Cup.”

He added: “But with not much new talent and a small playing pool, it is a tough year ahead for Ephie”
