Seamus Power will look to continue his bright form when he takes to the fairways at the Shriner's Childrens Open at TPC Summerlin this afternoon.

The Touraneena man has finished his last two tournaments in a tie for 11th, rising ten places in the world rankings to 109th.

Power currently sits second in the FedEx Cup Fall standings.

He tees off at 4pm Irish time in Nevada.

West Waterford clubmate Gary Hurley meanwhile finished level par in his opening round at the Hangzhou Open in China.

Fellow Irishman Conor Purcell holds the lead after carding an impressive 8-under-par 63.
