Lauren McGregor has scored 17 goals in her last 22 games for the Waterford ladies.
The Dungarvan attacker netted twice against Mayo to bring her tally to five in this year's league. Club mate Lucie O'Shea sang her praises on Friday's Lár Na Páirce show. "She has everything; she has a left leg and a right leg. She is a very good player on and off the ball. You never know what she is thinking. She is a very good goalscorer and very good at everything she does. It's brilliant to be playing alongside her."
Waterford will be on the road to Ballinasloe on Sunday afternoon for a relegation showdown with Galway. The winner will stay in Division 1 for 2025 and Déise boss Pat Sullivan believes that his team can come out on top. "We have the bench, we have the players, we have the pace. We are lightning in terms of our execution from the backs to the forwards. That will be the key come Sunday."
