The Waterford footballers resume their campaign in the McGrath Cup this afternoon with Tipperary coming to the Gold Coast.
Earlier this week, the Déise were left to rue their chances when Limerick ran out as 4.14 to 0.9 winners in their opening game.
Despite being within touching distance of the men from the Treaty as the second half of play began, the management team decided to give as many players as possible a run out and the team structure began to falter. Limerick pounced on their opportunity and put Ephie Fitzgerald's side to the sword.
They get underway at the Gold Coast from 1.30 pm and the team that will line out is as follows:
- Ben Kirwan - Kill
- Ronan O’Connell – Portlaw
- Caoimhin Walsh – Kilrossanty
