Waterford FC suffered their second away loss in a row last night after they were beaten 2 - 1 in the First Divison by Treaty United.

Goals from Matt Keane and Enda Curran gave Treaty the victory over a 10-man Waterfordafter Tummise Sobowale was dismissed early in the second half.

Anthony Wordsworth headed home on 75 to give Waterford hope.

Try as they might, they were unable to snatch a draw, meaning back-to-back away defeats following a defeat to Cork City.

Speaking to WLR after the game, Blues Boss Ian Morris said they conceded two easy goals.

"They were two sloppy goals [to conceed], two poor goals for us, it crossed into the box and we didn't deal with it.

"The first one was after 6 minutes and after that, I thought 'we'll go on and settle, we'll move the ball and we'll break these guys down' and at halftime, I thought 'we will re-group'.

"It was the second half, there was the sending off and we conceded the second goal.

"But credit to the boys with ten men on the pitch we ran them into the ground and we did look a threat with ten men all the time," Morris said.
