Waterford jockey Sean Houlihan is celebrating an unlikely success this afternoon having ridden a 100/1 winner at Chepstow.
Riding for his boss Philip Hobbs, the Dungarvan native led Mad Mike to victory in the 2-mile 3-furlong Maiden Hurdle at the Welsh track this afternoon.
The 6-year-old was matched stride-for-stride by the Rebecca Curtis-trained House of Stories but headed his rival yards from the line to land victory by a nose.
