A thrilling 18 holes have come to an end in Texas, with Seamus Power getting the better of Tyrell Hatton 4&3 to book his place in the last eight.

Seamus was in the second pairing out on the course, but he was the first player to advance past the Round of 16.

Opening up his round, Seamus claimed five of the first eight holes to lay out a hefty challenge for Hatton.

The English man - ranked 13th in the world managed to pull it back to four on a couple of occasions winning the ninth and the thirteenth, but the pride of Tooranena wouldn't be denied. Draining a par putt on the 15th allowed him to mark his card for a successful Saturday morning.

He'll be back out on the course this evening for his quarter-final match where he will meet Scottie Scheffler.

Also through to the quarter-finals are Abraham Ancer following his 7&6 win over Colin Morikawa and Dustin Johnson has gone through having beaten Richard Bland 3&2.
