Waterford’s Seamus Power is just two shots off the lead heading into the final round of the Valspar Championship on the PGA Tour.

The Touraneena man carded a 68 yesterday to leave him 8 under, sitting just behind Keith Mitchell who he will partner in the final group this evening.

The pair tee off at 10 to 6 Irish time this evening as Power bids for a third PGA Tour title.

Power had just one bogey on 9 in an otherwise strong round which had seen him birdie six and seven before further gains on 11 and 15.

He reflected on his third-round, and says it will be difficult to come out on top in what is a tightly-packed group.
