Three shots separate Seamus Power from the top of the leaderboard at the Travelers Championship.
An opening round 66 at the TPC River Highlands Course leaves the West Waterford native within touching distance of the leaders Kramer Hickock and Satoshi Kadaira.
Power shot a 3 under opening nine, with consecutive birdies on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th. A bogey on the 5th was quickly recovered on the 6th and he would remain level through the next four holes.
His back nine proved fruitful, with two more birides and just the one dropped shot on the par four 15th.
Seamus gets his second round underway today from 1.25pm in the company of Sean O' Hair, Kyle Stanley, JJ Spaun, Scott Stallings and Robby Shelton.
