Limerick lead Galway 2-24 to 1-18 at Croke Park in the All-Ireland hurling semi-final.

Aaron Gillane scored the Treaty goal early on at Croke Park before Cathal Mannion found the back of the net for Henry Sheflin's side.

Gillane scored Limerick's second goal in the second half as they will be aiming for their fourth All-Ireland title in a row.

Tipperary defeated Antrim 3-21 to six points approaching in the curtain-raiser, the All Ireland Senior Camogie quarter-final.

Leona Maguire is in a tie for fifth at the midway point of the US Women's Open at Pebble Beach.
