Two late points from Aaron Ryan gave the Waterford minor footballers a share of the spoils against Limerick in Fraher Field last night (1-7 to 0-10). A draw keeps both teams alive in the Munster championship ahead of the final round next Wednesday
Full forward Ryan found the net on 28 minutes as the home side led 1-4 to 0-3 at the break. Limerick took over in the second half as Shane O'Donoghue and Eliah Riordan put them two points up heading into injury time. Ryan's late double levelled matters for the fourth time. Ryan had an appeal for a free waved away before Colin Foley kicked wide at the death.
Manager Tom Guiry was glad to dig out a result.
