Mick Boland’s Waterford Camógie team edged past Tipperary with a narrow win at the RAGG on Sunday afternoon.

The Déise finished strong as they gained the last two scores of the game to hand them victory and passage into the provincial final.

Abby Flynn and Beth Carton with the all important late scores against the Premier as it finished 0-15 to 0-14.

Waterford’s standout players stood up to the challenge posed by neighbours Tipperary with Niamh Rockett tallying 0-6 in addition to 0-04 from Beth Carton and 0-1 from Maggie Gostl, Annie FitzGerald, Eimear O’Neill, Abby Flynn and Lorraine Bray.
