Roanmore and Abbeyside Ballinacourty share spoils in thriller

Roanmore and Abbeyside Ballinacourty played out a thriller in the Waterford Senior Hurling Championship last night.
It finished Roanmore 3-19 Abbeyside Ballinacourty 4-16 at Fraher Field as the sides couldn’t be separated.
Rian Walsh scored twice while Conor Prunty and Neil Montgomery also found the net for Abbeyside.
Brian Everard hit 2-2 for Roanmore while Gavin O’Brien chipped in with 9 points.
Roanmore remain unbeaten while Abbeyside Ballinacourty are without a win from their opening three games.
Elsewhere yesterday, Lismore got the better of Passage, Ballygunner breezed past Clonea and Fourmilewater saw off Dungarvan.
