Waterford FC have announced former Aberdeen, Rangers and St Johnstone player Richard Foster as Assistant Coach to Jon Daly at the RSC.

The 40 year old Scot played over 500 times across Scotland before ending his playing career at Detroit City in the USL Championship where he also began his coaching in the latter half of 2022.

Richard returned to Scotland in March of 2023 where he was named Head of Academy Coaching with Scottish Premiership side Motherwell FC, where he also held the post of Motherwell’s U18 Head Coach.

Foster spent over two-and-a-half years at Fir Park, before departing earlier this month has he now takes up the role at Blues Assistant Coach to Jon Daly.
