Waterford FC assistant head coach Alan Reynolds has reportedly signed a deal to become the new Bohemians Manager.
It's being reported in the Irish Sun today that Reynolds is set to replace Declan Devine who left the Dublin club last week, with the side sixth in the Premier Division standings after five games where they have won twice, lost twice and drawn once.
Reynolds re-joined the Blues last season at the start of their promotion challenge under Keith Long.
It proved to be a successful partnership as Waterford made their way through the playoffs to secure their place back in the Premier for the first time in two seasons.
The Tramore native previously managed Waterford FC to promotion from the First Division in the 2017/18 campaign. That promotion marked Waterford's return to the top flight for the first time in 10 years.
Since departing the Blues in 2020, Reynolds has worked as assistant manager at Derry City, while he still serves Jim Crawford in the Irish U21 setup.
If the move does go through, Reynolds would be taking over the club last managed by his current boss, Long, before his move South last year.
The Irish Sun says the move will be announced after Ireland's U21 Euros qualifier against San Marino on Friday.
The two teams are set to meet in the Premier Division soon, with Boh's hosting the Blues on April 5th.
