It's all over for Ralf Rangnick in Manchester.
The German who took over on an interim basis from Ole Gunnar Solskjær late last year, with the view to steering the club to the season's end before moving into a consultancy role in the Old Trafford board rooms.
The club have today confirmed that Rangnick will no longer be filling the planned role "due to the demands of his new role as Austria manager."
He was due to spend two more years at the club with Erik Ten Haag now appointed as the new full-time boss.

United will have to content themselves with a place in the Europa League next year, having finished 13 points off the Champions League places filled by Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea, and Spurs.
The club went on to say that they would like to" wish Ralf the best of luck in this next chapter of his career.”
"Rangnick took charge at the beginning of December and led the team through the remainder of a challenging season, with his spell as interim boss providing United with crucial time to conduct a thorough search for our next manager, resulting in the appointment of Erik ten Hag."
