The feature race on day 2 of the of the June Bank Holiday of National Hunt racing at Tramore is the handicap hurdle over 2 miles and 5 furlongs at 2.25.
Local trainers are out in force for this contest which has a total prize fund of €12,000. David Kiely runs Goldwin Magic with the versatile Rips Dream running for Pat Flynn. Tramore born Noel Dooly is represented by Wheres Bunny while down at the bottom of the handicap is Quins Court owned and trained by Patrick Duffy. In the same contest promising young Ardmore amateur rider John Gleeson boasts each way claims on board Ordered Lives owned by his grandfather Liam.
It's also Derby day at Epsom just outside London. The big race takes place at 4.30pm over one and a half miles on a unique course.The total prize fund on offer is £1.5 million.. 17 runners head to post five of which are trained in Ireland.
Changing Of The Guard, Star Of India and the Ryan Moore partnered Stone Age represent Aidan O Brien, Andy Oliver saddles Glory Daze while Donnacha O Brien will give the leg up to Frankie Dettori on Piz Badile.

GREYHOUND RACING

There is an 11 race card for patrons to enjoy in Kilcohan Park this evening (Saturday) with the opening contest underway at 7.50pm.. The card features the semi-finals of the Leo Dunphy sponsored Mooncoin ON3 Novice competition (Races 1 and 2).
Via the live inter track link patrons can also view the action from Shelbourne Park. where an eleven race card features 4 quarter finals of the 2022 Sporting Press Irish Oaks (Races 5 to 8 inclusive). (First prize €25,000).
