
The fixtures have been confirmed for the preliminary quarter-finals of the Waterford Senior Hurling Championship.
The group phase action for 2025 came to a close this afternoon.
Lismore defeated Dungarvan by 2-20 to 0-14 at Fraher Field to progress straight through to the quarter-finals alongside Ballygunner, Mount Sion and Roanmore.
Ben Cummins and Jack Prendergast fired 1-3 apiece.
Mark Fitzgerald was to the fore as Passage comfortably saw off Ferrybank at Walsh Park on a 3-19 to 0-12 scoreline and Austin Gleeson hit 0-6 and Adam Regan scored the game’s only goal as Mount Sion made it five wins from five with a 1-25 to 0-19 win against Fourmilewater in Carrickbeg.
With the final standings now confirmed, the draw has been made for the preliminary quarter-finals.
Passage will play the Brickey Rangers, Dungarvan come up against Clonea, Fourmilewater face Abbeyside Ballinacourty and De La Salle do battle with Ferrybank.
The four winners will advance to the quarter-finals while the losers will drop to the relegation playoffs.
The fixtures will be played across the course of next weekend.
