The Déise minor hurlers advanced to the All Ireland series with a 4-12 to 1-14 win over fourteen man Limerick at the TUS Gaelic Grounds on Thursday night.
De La Salle full forward Shane Power scored 2-3 (2-2 from play) for James O'Connor's side. Twin brother Conor came off the bench to raise a green flag while Ballygunner attacker Jack Power also starred with 1-2.
Mark Hartley fired five points with Cormac Spain and Tommy Kennedy also on target. Fiacra Cooney and Ollie Fives excelled in defence.
Patrick Kearney put over seven points for Limerick before Malachy McKenna netted a late goal. Substitute Conor Ryan got his marching orders for two yellow cards on 43 minutes.
