Shooting -3 on Saturday in Hawaii, Seamus Power carded a third-round score of 70 at the Sentry Tournament of Champions.

The Touraneena native is now tied for 19th at the season opener in the Aloha State and is expectedly still blowing off the cobwebs that have gathered since the festive period.

Power's offering on Saturday was much the same as his previous two days albeit with a superb eagle on the par-5 fifth. He managed to keep his nose clean for the most part with three birdies picked up on the 5th, 15th & 16th while he dropped just two shots on his opening hole, and once again on the 13th.

He has now dropped back to a tie for 19th overall and will return to the course from -12 at 6.45 pm Irish time.

Finishing with a good round will be important for Power as next week he heads to the Hero Cup where he will be hoping to put himself in the shop window for the Ryder Cup later this year.

At the other end of the leaderboard, Colin Morikawa has stormed ahead having shot rounds of 64, 66 & 65. The former US Open Champion is 24 under and 6 shots clear at the top. He heads back out for his final round in the company of Matt Fitzpatrick at 8.40 pm this evening.
