‘Show him around the beautiful Kingdom’: Kerry’s Paul Walsh meets Brazilian legend Ronaldinho

In what seems likely an unlikely meeting, Kerry footballer Paul Walsh met Brazilian legend, Ronaldinho.
The 2018 Minor Footballer of the Year was pictured holding a Kerry GAA jersey alongside the 2002 World Cup winner, which was reportedly taken at the Brazilian's home in Rio de Janeiro, according to the Irish Examiner.
Ronaldinho is famed in his native Brazil and around the world for his illustrious career, which included two FIFA World Player of the Year awards and a Ballon d'Or in 2005. Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona FC and AC Milan are among the clubs he represented. In a video shared on TikTok, Walsh and Ronaldinho also showed off some of their skills in a game of keepie-uppies. It has not yet been confirmed how the meeting came about.Joga Bonito @10Ronaldinho Deal is done: he’s an honorary Kerry man now @Kerry_Official @BROSNAGAA pic.twitter.com/vEeV7uO7zG

Kerry GAA were quick to capitalise on Walsh's new famous friend, tweeting: "Paul you might mention to him that he could win a house in Kerry if he buys a ticket here," linking to an ongoing fundraiser. "And then you could show him around the beautiful Kingdom," the tweet added.Look at our own Paul Walsh @BROSNAGAA over visiting the one and only Ronaldinho!
