Rathgormack trainer Pat Flynn is enjoying a fine spell of form of late - as he found himself in the winning enclosure once again at Dundalk this afternoon.
The 5/4 favourite, Shaaden - owned by Glen Norris from Glendalligan - came home with two and a half lengths in hand in a 7-furlong handicap - being guided through the line by in-form jockey Billy Lee.
It was a second win on the bounce for 4-year-old Shaaden, who had previously tasted course and distance success two weeks prior at odds of 3/1.
Pat Flynn also recorded a double at a floodlit fixture at the Louth venue on Friday evening - first combining with Dungarvan owner Conor Lannen as Tudor Manor was first past the post at odds of 2/1 in a one-and-a-half mile handicap hurdle. It was an impressive showing from the 8-year-old who had two and a quarter lengths to spare.
Later that evening over 1 mile and 3 furlongs, Not Just Any Eagle - a 7/1 shot owned by Pat's wife Catherine - completed the double when scoring by half a length.
Both winners were returned home by Cork apprentice jockey Robyn Donoghue-Leahy. Tudor Manor gave her her first career win earlier this year.
🗣️"It's an indescribable feeling."
