It's starting to become a regular occurrence of late, but this evening Munster will line out in Thomond Park with two Waterford men in the starting side.
As has become the norm, Jack O' Donoghue will wear the captain's armband with Peter O' Mahony preoccupied with Ireland duty.
Tom Ahern was unavailable for selection following his knock in the Leinster game last week, but standing in the wings waiting for his chance was another Waterford man - Eoin O'Connor.
The former Waterpark player signed a first pro contract earlier this year off the back of a superb performance for the province in Europe. Munster traveled to Coventry to face Wasps last December with the Red Army bereft of their choice starters due to a covid outbreak in the camp.
O'Connor was one of 12 academy players drafted in for the away trip which would ultimately end in defeat, but not without several young players' increasing in stature.
This evening in Thomond Park O' Connor earns his second start with Greame Rowntree seeing fit to name him in the second row alongside academy player Edwin Edogbo.
While Rowntree has not had the ideal start to life as a head coach, he can be content with his use of homegrown players. Four academy players are named on the squad to face Ulster with Edogbo, Patrick Campbell, Evan O'Connell and Cian Hurley all set to see game time.
While two wins in six games does not make for pleasant reading for Munster fans some solace can be taken from the fact that the production line is moving in the right direction. A couple of weeks ago 18-year-old Ruadhan Quinn became the youngest player to play for Munster in a competitive fixture in the professional era. That record looks likely to be broken once again this evening.
Evan O'Connell - who boasts a famous uncle called Paul - would clinch that record from Quinn if he crosses the white line.
Elsewhere Dave Kilcoyne, Diarmuid Barron and John Ryan start in the front row with Ryan returning on a short-term contract having departed the now-in-administration Wasps.
Rory Scannell and Malakai Fekitoa form the centre partnership with Paddy Patterson and Jack Crowley in the half-back
Kick-off at Thomond Park is at 5.15 pm.
